ABOUT
Meet Katie Landry, Your EMDR Therapist
I’m Katie. An EMDR Certified Therapist.
A soul worker. A partner. A mom. A daughter. A sibling. An animal lover. A grateful friend. A creative writer. A foodie. A lover of the wilderness. A self-proclaimed nerd. A tea-drinker and a coffee lover. A forever student. I'm an Enneagram 2 and a Libra. I appreciate laughter, the beauty of nature, and cherish my family deeply.
Professionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and Missouri, and a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas. I’ve been in practice since 2011. Here’s what’s most important to me: creating a safe space for my clients to heal, constantly collaborating with them to see and hear them fully, and seeking out people’s strengths and helping them to see them, too. I am a proud LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, and I celebrate the worth of all people.
I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to help you reach your full potential. I'm also trained in various approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and motivational interviewing.
I’ve worked with individuals and families across the lifespan, currently focusing on adults aged 18 and up. I've worked in adoption, healthcare, private practice, and integrated care, giving me a deep understanding of the layers that shape individuals and systems.
